I log into WordPress to update my plugin, and if I try to update more than 2 at a time, I get this error page.
If I refresh the page after a minute or two, then the plugin gets updated and I’m returned to the update page.

A 502 Bad gateway error in cloudflare means that Cloudflare has reached your sever but the response was invalid. Here are some troubleshooting steps ;

1. Confirm if the origin sever is active or online ie try accessing your website directly without cloudflare using your local host file.
2. Restart your web services, meaning sometimes services freezor crash and just need a reboot.
3. Check your security Plugins to make sure Cloudflare IPs are not blocked.
4. Review your sever logs by looking for any http 500 error in your server or a timeout.
5. If you are on a managed or shared sever , its recomended that you contact your host provider
