Websocket limits

Hi,

Might i know what’s the limit of websockets for the Cloudflare account? I read somewhere that it’s 1,000. However, is it per IP basis? like if domain xyz.com can allow max. 1000 websocket connection for IP x.x.x.x? And if it’s reaches 1000 limit, would still allow other new connections for another IP for y.y.y.y?

As far as I know there isn’t a hard limit. If you constantly use more than they consider low usage (if on Free, higher on the other plans) they will reach out to discuss plan upgrades or usage reduction.
