If you have used Cloudflare’s Load Balancing, or have spent any time trying to set it up, we’d love to hear your thoughts on the interface. Were you able to understand how the feature was going to work? Did you have any problems configuring for your needs? Is there information you feel was missing? Let us know.
Sir, I’m having trouble on setting up a load balancer, i got stuck on configuring a health check for my webserver.
I’ve been searching a configuration on what file or syntax that i have to put on my webserver in order for Cloudflare load balancer to check if my website is Up and healthy, do you have guide on setting up a health checks on what specifically steps to achieve this.
Hello,
Tried setting up a load balancer but after speaking w/ support it seems you don’t support the following capability. It would be great if each pool/origin can be linked to a specific Railgun.
For example, our servers (ie pools) are located in U.S. East and U.S. West data centers. So I would like to have the U.S. East pool/origin use our railgun that is closest (on the East coast) while the U.S. West pool/origin use our railgun closest on the west coast.
I hope you can see the benefit of offering this. Let me know if u need any additional info.
Thx!
A couple of feature requests first:
- It would be nice to be able to view all load balancers of a zone at the same time rather than having to switch via the fixed filter. Maybe even include the endpoints too rather than just showing the total stats below.
- It would be nice to have the same ‘auto updating’ method for the ‘Previous 30 minutes’ as normally experienced with the other graphs in the UI.
Also, I believe your API documentation is incorrect for checking load balancing analytics events.
The page Cloudflare API Documentation refers to ‘users’. This produces a “400 Bad Request” response. I’ve found and tested the correct API call that the UI uses which is ‘/{account_id}/load_balancing_analytics/events’.
