What is the issue you’re encountering
AI generated captions for non-English languages don’t work
What are the steps to reproduce the issue?
- Navigate to the “Captions” tab of a video
- Click “Add captions”
- Choose a language that supports AI generation, such as Spanish
- Wait for the captions to be generated and applied to your video
- The captions generated will be 90+% English with just a little bit of Spanish mixed in.
I have attached a screenshot that shows this for Korean. It shows that there is a mixture of Korean and English in the caption, but the vast majority of the captions are just in English.
