Error: cURL error 6: Could not resolve host: example.com (http_request_failed)

Hello

I am getting the following error from WordPress; “Error: cURL error 6: Could not resolve host: example.com (http_request_failed)” Actual website name has been replaced with example.com. Researching this error it mentions that there could be a DNS problem. The DNS has not been modified and the issue started appearing in the last 2 days. Prior to that all was good. Any clues will be appreciated.

This almost always turns out to be a hosting DNS problem. I had a night where I was having all kinds of problems because of DNS. It worked the next day, but after that, I switched to external DNS (1.1.1.1) rather than my hosting.
