Until March 2020, the FAQ described a 1,000 DNS record limit Today, the limit is omitted from the FAQ.
Is there a record limit or has it been changed?
Without official documentation, it’s difficult to mind-read, but @cs-cf usually knows what the DNS limits are.

Those seem to be only importing limits though, 200 records on free zones seems way too low of a limit…

what’s the limit of records on single domain in May 2020? I read that last year was something like 1.000, but I cannot see any info on CF pages.
