I have installed Cloudflare plugin on wordpress and it is working nice.
Since the servers have litespeed I installed the litespeed plugin. I noticed that the litespeed plugin have a CDN tab.
They are recommending that we create cname cdn.mydomain.com on Cloudflare and enter the same in the plugin.
Is this really necessary?

I am the one who originally wrote that blog post, but I had incorrect information at the time. I updated it last week to indicate that you should not use LiteSpeed CDN settings for Cloudflare
Those settings are for reverse-proxy-type CDNs, not for the Cloudflare type of CDN.
