What is the issue you’re encountering

I am trying to move my domain from Network Solutions to Cloudflare. I’m at the step where I need to “Add the website or application to Cloudflare” and when I enter the domain and select ‘Quick scan for DNS records’, I’m presented with the error that the domain has a hold on it.

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

I have contacted Network Solutions and ensured that the domain is available for transfer and does not have a hold on their end.

What are the steps to reproduce the issue?

Any time I try to add the domain to Cloudflare, I get the error.

This message usually means the domain has been part of an Enterprise agreement and has been locked to prevent it being added to any other Cloudflare account. There doesn’t seem to be any history of this domain being on Cloudflare, other than using Network Solutions nameservers that are powered by Cloudflare.

You’ll need to raise a support ticket so the reason for the hold can be checked and you can prove ownership if necessary.
