Zone hold preventing adding domain to new account

It seems that my domain is associated with another Cloudflare account, but I don’t know whose account

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

I read this Zone holds · Cloudflare Fundamentals docs and my understanding is that this means my domain is already in another Cloudflare account. The problem is, I don’t know which account it’s in or who manages said account. Can Cloudflare help me identify that and/or release the domain if it’s not currently being utilized? Thanks for any help!

Did you just purchase the domain? If so, do you know the previous owner? Zone holds are account issues that need to be addressed by the Support team on a case.

Hi @cloonan. No, we did not just purchase the domain, but I just realized something. Our former ecommerce platform was going to migrate us to a new server right before we switched to another platform, and Cloudflare was part of their stack. I will reach out to them to see if they still have the domain in their Cloudflare account.

This is what it was. They removed it on their side and I was able to add it.
