With an email “[email protected]”, you have deleted and re-created the “john.doe@” account?

Or what exactly are you referring to, when referring to “zone” and “user's zone” being purged?

Googling for these two codes are leading me towards this Reddit thread:

Unable to add an Microsoft 365 exchange email account to the Outlook desktop app. It fails saying something went wrong

Although it is referring to the Desktop app, it is referring to the fact that you need to go in to your Administrator panel, for the user account, and activate the possibility for that user account to use “IMAP”, “Mobile (Exchange ActiveSync)”, or whatever kind of access it is, that you’re currently having issues with.

A screenshot was shared in that thread, which I include here (including the source):

I would suggest that you (or your tenant administrator) should start by trying to enable “Mobile (Exchange ActiveSync)”, in order to allow access to the user account from a mobile device, using Microsoft’s own protocols.

If you also require access from other email clients, that aren’t Outlook, enabling “IMAP” may be necessary as well.
