Who is hosting your site? What did you change the IP address to?

I did need to add CNAME for wpengine. I use LetsEncrypt and they were having trouble with the certs. I had to switch to their advanced server IP

WPEngine uses Cloudflare for their newer setups. If you use A/AAAA records, requests will go direct to their Cloudflare account and not pass through yours.

Instead either replace the A records for kioskindustry.org with proxied CNAMEs as you have with www…

I’m being stupid here. if I remove the A records, site no longer resolves despite the CNAME

I deleted A record and made CNAME for kioskindustry using wpenginepowered.

Yes, stats have returned. Thank you SRJ! I am less an idiot. I will say the WPengine techs gave me three different stories and none of them were what I needed to hear. A little disappointed since I sort of pay for support.
