Zaraz Hubspot Chat Widget not working

Hello everyone,
We’re experiencing an issue with the HubSpot chat widget integration through Zaraz. While the widget displays correctly when added directly to our website, it doesn’t appear when integrated via Zaraz.

Can someone help us ?

The Hubspot chat widget is not injected with the Zaraz Hubspot tool. Zaraz Hubspot tool doesn’t inject any javascript at all. You must use the official Hubspot pixel for that.

You are right! Sorry, I had no idea that option existed.

I looked at the open-sourced version of the Hubspot tool, and it injects the required script when necessary. hubspot/src/index.ts at main · managed-components/hubspot · GitHub

Did you activate a chatbot on Hubspot? Try your chatbot first with an HTML tool and the Hubspot code snippet. I can’t help you more If it’s working with the code snippet and not with Zaraz’s tool.

Our chatbot was previously functioning properly with its code implemented through Google Tag Manager (GTM). However, after switching to Zaraz, the chatbox has disappeared. We prefer not to resort to using Custom HTML and would like to explore integrating it directly with Zaraz if possible.

Hey @gurkan.ugurlu , the team will look into this and update soon. It might take some time as HubSpot isn’t one of our most used tools and documentation for it is sparse.

Hello @gurkan.ugurlu, this is Yair from the Cloudflare Zaraz team. I’ve been looking into your issue but haven’t been able to replicate it—I can successfully load the chat on my website.

However, I noticed that if Hubspot is configured to use the EU data center without the appropriate Zaraz settings, the chat might not load. Please ensure that you have the correct settings configured in your Hubspot tool.

To check if your Hubspot is set to use EU data centers, look at the tracking code Hubspot provided. If it includes an ‘eu1’ prefix or something similar:

You will need to update your Zaraz settings accordingly. Go to edit > settings in your Hubspot tool and make the necessary adjustments.

I suspect this could be why your chat isn’t loading. Could you please try these steps and let me know if it resolves the issue? Thank you!
