I’m getting some false detection sin terms of my website visitors in my Google analytics (configured via Zaraz) and I’m assuming it’s bots.
Can I simply add a blocking trigger where I bloc if user agent contains the word “bot” ?
Or is it more complicated than this ?

It depends on how sophisticated the bots that you’re dealing with are. It’s super easy for a bot to change their user agent string. If, however, all the bots do identify themselves politely via the UAS, the solution that you’ve proposed will help ignore their traffic in analytics.
