Www record still points to the old host after DNS record change

Good day all,

I recently migrated from WP Engine to Kinsta and updated all my DNS record as per Kinsta specs. The root domain point to the Kinsta server with no isse but the CNAME record of “www” points to the old host despite setting the value that I got from Kinsta host.

This is the CNAME value that does not work:
CNAME www greendish.hosting.kinsta.cloud

Appreciate any advice, recommendation.

If you were using WP Engine’s GES service as them to kindly remove the custom hostname from Cloudflare in their service configuration.

Thanks for the prompt reply.

I reachout to WP Engine support and they had no idea what was causing the issue. I reached out to Kinsta support and they added a missing CF Custom hostname and looks like that resolved the issue.
