Www global forward to root domain

How do I set up a global www forward to the root domain? I want the root domain to be the main domain and all www request to forward to root.

I looked at your page rules but that seems to be a page by page non-global forwarding.

Try this:

Redirecting www to non www

Here is the page rule setup you need. Replace example.com with your domain. Create a page rule with the “matching URL” set to: www.example.com* (The asterisk appearing after your domain is important) Then, click “add a setting” pick “Forwarding URL”, and set the status code to 302 - temporary redirect. In the “destination url” field, enter https://example.com/$1 The $1 here is important for redirects to keep the page they were on - this makes it so www.example.com/about will redirect …

I did that Image 2019-06-30 at 5.19.04 PM and then visited www.site.com and did not redirect to site.com
what am I doing wrong?
Also why not 301 redirect why 302?

What’s the domain?

As for the 302/301, I usually go with the 301 as I want it to be a permanent change.
