"www" DNS A-Record isn't binding to the Workers Page

The initial connection between Cloudflare’s network and the origin web server timed out. As a result, the web page can not be displayed.

What is the issue you’re encountering

Workers Page & DNS CNAME Alias not Binding

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

Created DNS entries to match a working webpage (match A and CNAM records exactly – except different domain of course). Waited 24hrs – “Connection Timeout - Host Error”
Deleted all entries, and tinkered with several different iterations while troubleshooting – nothing works. Missing something obvious I think.

What are the steps to reproduce the issue?

Domain valid and is registered with CF
DNS servers are CF
Generate CF Workers Page
Upload HTML index file to CF
Add DNS entries in CF

I suspect it may have something to do with the existence of the previously entered (and functional) MX records?

Ahhh, so I should just have patience, and allow Cloudflare to “magically” create the DNS records for me, which will cause the “binding” to the Pages app? My jumping into DNS and generating the records manually is shorting out the process?
