I have had a problem with my Wordpress site for a few days now. Pages are slow to load and get a white screen for a while as if the page isn’t going to load. I also could not edit some pages as I just get a white screen. Sometimes I get a 522 error message from Cloud Flare. I don’t know what the problem is however I paused Cloudflare and the website started to work correctly even letting me edit the pages without seeing the white screen. I haven’t changed any settings in Cloudflare so not sure how to fix the issue!
You can try creating a Page Rule for your admin area, see if that helps:
URL: *example.com/wp-admin*
Settings:
Disable Apps
Disable Performance
Security Level: High (you can skip this one if /wp-admin is under an Access Policy)
Make this the first page rule, specially if you have a “cache everything” rule applied to your website. I hope this helps, though issues such as the ones you are describing are not easy to pinpoint, and may be the result of many different factors. If it doesn’t help, provide more details of your Cloudflare settings (caching, page rules, rocket loader etc) so someone who faced similar issues may help you.
