Wordpress Multisite and two GoDaddy domains

Hi, I am having a very difficult time here and its probably a simple fix. I have two domains from GoDaddy and they both point to Cloudflare NSs. I am just not sure what DNS record I need to set up domain 2 to work properly. Over at Wordpress I have Domain1 working just fine and a subsite, domain1/domain2. I want users to access domain2 by simply searching for that site. Hope this all made sense.

Hmm… I’m quite confused. For each domain you need to know the IP address designated by your hosting provider. In general, An A record for ‘@’ (root domain) and another for www pointing to your hosting server address should suffice. Without more detail, it would seem that you would need the same 2 A records in both zones.

If you need more help, please provide more details about your configuration and include screenshots of your current Cloudflare DNS panel (you may obscure IP addresses) so that a member of this community may be able to help you with your setup.

Thanks.

The domain on the screenshot is working as far as Cloudflare is concerned, but seems to be pointing to the wrong IP address. Check with your hosting provider what is the server IP address your A record needs to point to.

You need also to make a bit more clear what’s the issue with domain 1 and domain 2.

Hi thanks for your responses so far, I’ll do my best to further specify.

We have two domains, stpatschool and stpatmaysville. Stpatschool works just fine and on WordPress, a multi site was set up to add the stpatmaysville and that is where i am getting stuck… I currently have it just pointing to that same ip

The webserver at that IP clearly is unaware of what you expect it to do when it receives a request for that hostname. Did you configure the webserver as well as WordPress?

I’m gonna guess not, what should I tell the gent hosting to do?

You should have a conversation with your host about that.
