“Missing a temporary folder” in Wordpress error mainly during uplouding files on server by Wordpress. The problem only occurs when the page is redirected through Cloudflare. Other sites running on the same server but without CF services do not have this error. Therefore, the server settings are correct (confirmed by the server provider). Additionally, a similar error has also appeared before: I can't upload files in my website when using cloudflare server, but without a solution.
What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?
Changing settings of PHP and server
Changing settings of Wordpress
Adding temp folder in catalogue of Wordpress & adding in config files new localizatiom
Changing Read+Write permission
What feature, service or problem is this related to?
I have not yet received such message from WordPress, nor Cloudflare.
This message shouldn’t be related to Cloudflare at all, rather I’d suggest you to contact your web hosting provider and cross-check PHP temporary folder as well as CHMOD privileges.
Obviously you cannot write to /tmp/ for some reason or wp-content/uploads and create e.g. 2025/01 as well.
Might be the configuration file for web host which you cannot modify nor find, only web hosting provider could.
Are you using some plugin such as File Manager or Real Media Library?
I’ve seen this instructions, but nothing works. I can uploud files via FTP, but WordPress doesn’t show it in media library. In past it worked, but today every file uplouded via WP is adding to database. There, where I can, I use link to media and add, but in some fileds I can add only file from WP media library.
I’ve verified this issue with hosting provider - I have all permissions due to this website. When I tried uploud file on another WP (without CloudeFlare) everythings was fine.
