Error

What is the issue you’re encountering

Gutenberg audio player in giving error only on mobile. Not on desktop.

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

The site is learn dash + member press + buddy boss on WordPress platform. I installed Cloudflare 24 hours ago to speed up the page, as page load times were 2-3 sec.
Now, the audio player part that serves files from the upload folder is giving an error. Can’t see the exact error as it is only on mobile devices.
What setting can cause this, and how to change that?

Serving mp3 or?
Are those files large by the size or?

Here I made a publik link
https://dietskills.ee/29947-2/
its a wav file

it has to be clouudflare related, as the original error was on the subdomain app.dietskills.ee and when I tried to serve same filetype on dietskills.ee domain I get the same error on mobile only

I am afraid, hm, you’d either have to:

  1. Use unproxied :grey: DNS-only sub-domain and serve those files from it
  2. Upload to R2 and serve those files from a custom sub-domain connected to your R2 bucket such as audio.mydomain.com

Might be it’s a bit tricky, either due to the content-type and a bit “breaking connection” over a proxied :orange: hostname.

I know when I was streaming over a proxied :orange: also issue since it’s non-HTML content, therefrom a bit in violation of the Terms of Service.

The file is approx. ~50-55MB as well which still gets cached.

As I did not see a very big bump in speed from the CF install, it sounds wiser to cancel Cloudflare and move to the LiteSpeed server as it provides about the same boost in speed with less hassle.
