Will reissue/renew existing SSL Certificate (Custom Modern) resulting in SSL Key replacement?

Hi, our existing SSL Certificate (Custom Modern) will be expired soon. It was bought from DigiCert and it was being uploaded manually in Cloudflare → SSL/TLS → Edge Certificates page.

Now we have plan to reissue/renew it from within DigiCert dashboard and was wondering whether:

  1. After renewed, will it automatically refreshed in Cloudflare side?
  2. If not, what’s the step that we should do in order to refresh it in Cloudflare side?
  3. Will the SSL Key be changed after it got refreshed?

No. You’ll have to upload the new one, just like you did for the current one.
