Will Cloudflare pull any images from the cache for logged-in users?

What is the name of the domain?

What is the issue you’re encountering

Will Cloudflare cache images added to the DOM by javascript by default, or does that require a rule or a premium plan?

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

Hi,

I’m evaluating CDN options before signing up for Cloudflare.

Is this description of the Cloudflare CDN from WP Rocket correct?

"On top of that, by default, Cloudflare APO won't deliver cache to any visitor with a cookie starting with the wordpress prefix in the browser, and this includes any person using the logged-in functions of WordPress.

And you also can't use Cloudflare Page Rules, such as Cache Everything, for logged-in visitors."

If a user is logged-in, would they receive any cached files from the Cloudflare network?

Thanks!

Hi there,

By default, Cloudflare will cache any asset in listed in the Default cached file extensions here as long as the cache control header does not contain no-cache, no-store, private or max-age equals 0.

If you want to force caching despite cache control or file extension, you can do so by creating cache rules.

Take care.
