Always start with the defaults. As you get a better feel for what caching involves, you can make such decisions with more confidence.

In addition to @sdayman 's excellent recommendation, depending on what type of files (html/css/js/png/woff2/etc) you’re serving, you’ll be able to adjust each according your preferences after getting a feel for what you need.
