Correct me if I’m wrong, I remember the default setting of ssl is flexible? I encountered several times of ssl error after adding website, of course they were OK after ssl switched to Full.
Welcome to the Cloudflare Community.
The default may be Flexible, but that doesn’t make it safe or secure. In addition to misleading visitors, it is a frequent cause of redirect loops. It should never be used.
Full is not secure either. That mode does not validate the origin certificate, which means expired certificates or ones that do not match the domain name will be permitted.
