Why my domains are deleted for no reason?

Why am i receiving this email only and all my domains are gone?
I’m not performing any activities on cloudflare during the time
and now when i’m adding back to the accounts all my paid products are gone too??

Aren’t cloudflare purposed for security and now cloudflare can’t protect the properties of customer?

The zone: http://xxx.com in account: “xxx” was deleted by [email protected] on 2020-07-13T16:32:54.268716Z.

If the zone was deleted in error, then it can be re-added to reinstate existing configuration of the zone.
If you believe this was due to an unauthorized action, please contact [email protected]

Thanks,
The Cloudflare team

Did your domain was deleted mysteriously?
I’ve been using cloudflare for 7 years with different accounts and this is the very first time I’m experiencing this. Disappointed and horrible.

I’ve checked my audit log. it was deleted via API
How can i disable the API access??

I never authorise API to any app.

Nope. I’ve just reset API.

This is terrible.

Hi @coronanetiz, it looks like the the three zones in question were recently added and each has an icann hold that I suspect has impacted adding these. (which in my mind is odd as the nameservers show as changed, I see the confirmation, and I don’t show a move…:man_shrugging:).

I’d contact your registrar to have these removed and re-add the zone if you’ve not already.

Two zones have just the update & transfer hold, one has:

Domain Status: clientTransferProhibited http://www.icann.org/epp#clientTransferProhibited
Domain Status: clientUpdateProhibited http://www.icann.org/epp#clientUpdateProhibited
Domain Status: clientRenewProhibited http://www.icann.org/epp#clientRenewProhibited
Domain Status: clientDeleteProhibited http://www.icann.org/epp#clientDeleteProhibited

I was using cloudflare as DNS all the while…
What to do with ICANN when my domain was deleted by cloudflare?..

I think you need to contact your domain registrar to have the holds removed to allow you to make changes to the domain.

ICANN sets the rules your domain registrar has to follow. If your registrar disables your domain, the requests will never get to Cloudflare.

Hi @coronanetiz, your tickets have been merged into 1923968. Multiple tickets simply slow down the process for everyone.

You need to resolve the issues with your domain registrar related to the icann holds. As explained by support, a credit was issued for the services associated with the the zones that are subject to the holds. This is not an issue with the API nor account security, just the icann holds on your domain.
