Why it is pending name server update what is needed to be done?

What is the name of the domain?

What is the error message?

The verification for the nameservers of bitcrooftiles.com is already being re-checked. You may only submit a re-check once per hour.

What is the issue you’re encountering

pending state takes a lot of days

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

tried to contact the domain provider, they said to contact Cloudflare because this is just pointed. The DNS is activated already. It should be up and working.
I don’t know the issue. I have done this a lot of times. This is the first time I have encountered this issue. I hope you guys can help me soon, thank you.

What feature, service or problem is this related to?

I don’t know

What are the steps to reproduce the issue?

I just login at cpanel, and check the domain bitcrooftiles.com from there you will see it is on pending state, checking the name server button gives you the result of “Cloudflare is now checking the nameservers for bitcrooftiles.com. Please wait a few hours for an update.” It’s already been 3 days and I’m worried.

I have not come across such an issue. I was about to suggest that you could try removing the site from your Cloudflare account and then add it again, but this should be a better way ideally.

I do see the correct name service across multiple DNS resolvers though:

 ~ dig -t NS bitcrooftiles.com +short @1.1.1.1
jamie.ns.cloudflare.com.
miles.ns.cloudflare.com.
 ~ dig -t NS bitcrooftiles.com +short @8.8.8.8
miles.ns.cloudflare.com.
jamie.ns.cloudflare.com.
 ~ dig -t NS bitcrooftiles.com +short @9.9.9.9
jamie.ns.cloudflare.com.
miles.ns.cloudflare.com.

okay I will try again

it is correct but I am still seeing pending state, which is my problem… now it has become worse. I change the DNS while the domain is transferring to another provider. I can’t change the DNS because transferring takes 5 days to do. And it is 3rd day at the moment :frowning:

No zone file has been created for your domain…

This usually means you haven’t selected a plan. Select Free at the bottom of this page…

Otherwise, check you have added the correct domain and spelled it correctly, and that you have set the 2 allocated Cloudflare nameservers to your registrar (which will have changed if you deleted the domain from Cloudflare and added it back again)

I have followed arun suggestion to remove the site from cloudflare and add it again.

The NS before was
jamie.ns.cloudflare.com.
miles.ns.cloudflare.com.

now it is recommending

is there a way that I can custom back the recommended NS back to initial NS?

No. Setting the nameservers is the key security feature that confirms you control the domain. Deleting the domain from Cloudflare and adding it back again will always change the nameservers to protect your domain from being hijacked by another user.

The new nameservers are now resolving your domain…

…so soon after you set them at your registrar your domain will go from pending to active.

My last option is to wait for the transfer and from there I can change the DNS from that provider.
