Why isn't purging by hostname included with SSL for SaaS?

Hi guys

We’re developing a SaaS and have been watching the roll out of new features like SSL for SaaS, R2 and cache reserve with interest. All these things are pay-as-you-go, which makes Cloudflare much more appealing for cash-strapped startups.

But SSL for SaaS seems pretty crippled without more granular purging. By hostname, at the very least… Is there a plan to add this to the Pro plan? If not, how would we manage caching for potentially hundreds of $2-per-domain SSL for SaaS domains?

At the moment granular purging is unfortunately only limited to the enterprise plan. As far as I’m aware, there are currently no plans to make that available to lower-tier plans.
