Why is cloudflare asking me to change nameservers when they are already on here

What is the issue you’re encountering

A domain I registered in the Cloudflare registrar was missing from my account. Cloudflare now wants me to switch nameservers to the servers they are already under in cloudflare’s system.

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

What can I even do? I cannot go into edit nameservers because it was made fresh in the Cloudflare registrar. It is puzzling that the domain was missing from the Cloudflare account it was registered under yet says that it is still in Cloudflare’s nameservers. Is this mistake and misplacement of my domain common? What is there to do?

Domains don’t just get “misplaced” like that. What is common, and likely to be the case here, is that the domain may be in a different Cloudflare account!

… and check ALL your email accounts. Cloudflare will send a confirmation email to the email address linked to the account that currently has the domain active in.
