Why is it that one of my cloudflare domains, steam.pet, resolves when I do a dns on twitch.steam.pet, but twitch2.steam.pet keeps failing to resolve, and it’s been a long time since then, and the ping still doesn’t give me any information?

That domain is not using Cloudflare nameservers.
I’ve modified the NS record to cloudflare and also added the record well in cloudflare and it seems to be accessible now.
However, I’ve noticed that the SSL keeps showing : Pending Validation, which is causing my site access to be in an insecure http all the time.
You need to update your nameservers at your registrar. They currently still do not point to Cloudflare. Cloudflare can’t issue a certificate for a zone which isn’t active.
But I’ve looked through multiple “NS Lookups” and found that it’s already an NS record for cloudflare:
