I’m experiencing a frustrating issue with my domain I’ve recently reinstalled my VPS with Ubuntu 22.04 and set up Apache, PHP, Node.js, and SSL (using Let’s Encrypt). All my DNS records in Cloudflare are configured correctly – the A records for my domains, and other subdomains point to my VPS IP (185.87.253.203) and are set to proxied (orange cloud). My Cloudflare account status shows as active, yet when I try to access my site via HTTPS, I get the following error:
What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?
Verified that my VPS and Apache configuration are correct.
Confirmed that the site is accessible via the server’s IP address when I switch the DNS records to “DNS Only” (gray cloud).
Ensured that my SSL certificate is properly installed and that HTTPS works when Cloudflare’s proxy is disabled.
Reviewed Cloudflare DNS and security settings with no obvious misconfigurations.
