I need to white list the IP addresses of the GTranslate servers in Cloudflare. Where and how can I do that?
I solved it this way:
- In cloudflare go to Firewall / Tools / IP access rules. Add all IP addresses and give ‘Allow’ access! Have to do all IP’s seperately, ranges not accepted.
- In Cloudflare go to DNS. Change CNAME for all languages from ‘DNS only’ to ‘PROXY’ (orange cloud).
Ranges are accepted if they’re in CIDR format.
One of the ranges GTranslate gave me was 126.96.36.199/29. But /29 was not accepted…
That’s when I’d go with a /24. It does over-expose, but in my case, it’s a low-risk exposure.
The range was given to me so I had no choice to enter them one by one.
It’s working fine now.
At least it was only six addresses.
They gave me 13 ranges. but a man’s got to do what a man’s got to do.
