I have a plex server that I use within my family. What plan would I need in order to be able to proxy my plex traffic through the Cloudflare CDN so that I can hide my residential IP address? My bandwidth is about 100GB/month.
You would need an enterprise agreement. Serving primarily non-HTML content is not allowed per section 2.8 of the Self-Service Subcription Agreement:
Use of the Services for serving video or a disproportionate percentage of pictures, audio files, or other non-HTML content is prohibited, unless purchased separately as part of a Paid Service or expressly allowed under our Supplemental Terms for a specific Service.
I thought the pro plan offered video stream for a per-usage fee?
Cloudflare Stream is a video delivery solution. You upload the content to Cloudflare who then handles transcoding and serving the video. It is billed by minutes of video stored and minutes of video served.
Got it. Sounds like for home users, the only option is to grey-cloud Plex server.
