Where to put nameservers?

I have an account with Cloudflare and I transferred my domain to Cloudflare registrar.

Now my hosting provider tells me I need to put their name servers to Cloudflare to connect hosting and my domain name, on this forum I found a thread where it’s been suggested to obtain an IP or domain name from the hosting and make a A/CNAME record on Cloudflare and leave name servers as they are.

Which one is correct?

Do not change the nameservers away from cloudflare nor add the ns from the hosting provider. You cannot change the ns if you are using cf registrar. You want to

I do this with an A record that has the value of my origin IP
