Where to find detailed Security Event Logs (Firewall events) in Free Plan dashboard?
What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?
Hi everyone,
I’m using Cloudflare with the Free Plan for my website, and I’m trying to locate the detailed security event logs (firewall events). I need to access these logs to diagnose a potential crawling issue affecting my site’s approval in Google AdSense.
I have accessed the “Security” section in my Cloudflare dashboard. Still, I’m unable to see a distinct option or sub-menu item called “Events”, “Logs”, or “Firewall events” that would lead me to the detailed list of security events. I’ve checked the side menu and the main page of the “Security” section, including scrolling and looking at the “Details” links next to the threat summaries, but these only show aggregate tables or types of threats, not individual event listings.
I am looking for a specific log that shows, for each security event (like blocked or challenged requests), the following details:
Date and time
Source IP address
User Agent (especially to identify crawlers like Mediapartners-Google or Googlebot)
The requested URL
The Action taken by Cloudflare (Blocked, Challenged, Allowed, etc.)
The Rule that was triggered (if applicable)
In my panel, the menu structure under “Security” doesn’t seem to display these options in the standard location, or perhaps they are nested differently in the Free Plan.
Could someone experienced with the Free Plan or familiar with the interface please point me to the exact path within the Cloudflare dashboard to find this type of detailed security event log? Or if it’s accessed from a specific link or button on the Security page that isn’t immediately obvious?
I would greatly appreciate any guidance on locating this crucial information.
Thanks in advance!
