Hi there

I am completely new to Cloudflare, and now I have a problem with cloning my website from live to test. The live site runs fine, but I can’t clone to the test site. When I try to clone I pause Cloudflare.

Who do I have to ask for help: here or my original host?

Hi @post7, yes, that is a question best directed to your hosting provider. But I am curious, as to the issue you’re encountering to ensure it’s not caused by cf. What error do you receive?

Thanks for your answer. I have managed to solve the problem. Suddenly it worked and I don’t know why and how.

I got no error message; it was just that my test site (where I cloned to) looked horrible - the stylesheet was no read I guess, and the images were not present.

If the issue returns, open the site in your browsers Dev Tools. Also, when developing a new site, it’s helpful to place the site in to Cloudflare’s Development mode and don’t forget clear the sites cache, Cloudflare’s cache and your browsers cache etc.
