Where is the plain TTL?

I’m switching hosts and would like to lower the TTL to about 5 minutes, but I can only find the “Browser Cache TTL” which is not the same. Anyone have any idea how to address this?

Is that ttl for DNS records or origin cache?

DNS records.

For setting DNS settings, please navigate to the DNS section

just edit the DNS entry you want and set the TTL to any of those available values:

  • Auto (default)
  • 30 sec
  • 1 min
  • 2 min
  • 5 min
  • 10 min
  • 15 min
  • 30 min
  • 1 hr
  • 2 hr
  • 5 hr
  • 12 hr
  • 1 day

Note: this only is available, if the DNS entry is unproxied :grey:. If the DNS entry is proxied :orange: no TTL will be required - due to the fact, how Cloudflare works, when proxied.

You’re welcome! Have fun and don’t worry - Cloudflare has a lot of features and options, so it’s easy to overlook things
