Forgot Email? This tool helps determine the email address associated to your Cloudflare account. Provide your active Cloudflare domain in the form below to email the address on file. Enterprise customers cannot utilize this tool and must contact their Account Manager. The domain provided isn’t registered on the Internet. This tool only works with active Cloudflare domains. Check for spelling typos or complete the form with a different domain.

Recovering access to the domain

In what area can we help you?

Domain transfer to Cloudflare

What are the steps to reproduce the issue?

I have lost admin access to: https://col-helper.co.uk/
When I go to “forgot email” it says it is not registered, even though the Registrar and nameservers are both Cloudflare

If you have left or were removed from the account by another member, this will cause an issue with the forgot email form. Do you have an idea of what email you were using previously using to access the account for this domain?

If you know the email that was used to access/register the domain, can you please create an Account ticket and share your ticket number here? You can open an Account ticket here, https://dash.cloudflare.com/?to=/:account/support

If you aren’t able to log in with the correct email, you can open a new ticket by going to our login recovery form https://dash.cloudflare.com/login-help (you will need to be logged out to view this one)

Please let me know the ticket number

Thanks Emanova!
I think I know the email address that was associated with the original domain, but I can’t be 100% sure. I will try opening a ticket. And will comment back with the ticket number. Thank you!

Hi Emanova,
I forgot that I actually have already opened an issue that Cloudflare marked as resolved, because they said that they don’t support with DNS issues and that I should ask the community. The issue number is #3291638. Thanks again!

Hey Emanova,
Just wanted to update you to say that I also tried to recover the account using this link: https://dash.cloudflare.com/login-help however, I have received an email in reply saying the following:

"Hello,

We have received your login recovery issue. However, we do not recognize this email as a valid Cloudflare account.

Resubmit your request, but use the email associated with your Cloudflare account.

If you did not send this request you can ignore this message."

For clarity, I used the only email address that I know I have with Cloudflare (the one that is not linked to the domain in question).

What is the name of the domain?

What is the issue you’re encountering

I am unable to access a domain that is hosted on Cloudflare, but not currently tied to my account

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

I opened up a previous ticket https://support.cloudflare.com/hc/requests/3341111
which I can no longer access because it was migrated to Salesforce (500Nv00000C2C9VIAV). I was told that I would receive an email, but I never received it.
I called Salesforce and they say that it is not a valid Salesforce case number.

Cloudflare is not a hosting provider, exceptions apply, but not here.

If you login to https://dash.cloudflare.com/?to=/:account/:zone/dns and the nameservers at the bottom of that page are not desi & anderson that means you are not logged in to the account where you added the domain, DNS Propagation Checker - Global DNS Testing Tool. Support nor the Community can assist you with that.

But, you can help yourself, logout and use this account recovery link to recover access to the account that holds the website, https://dash.cloudflare.com/forgot-email. Complete that form and then check every email that may be associated with the domain.

Hi Cloonan,
The problem is that when I run the account recovery forgot email process, Cloudflare says that this domain is not on the Internet and is not registered to Cloudflare domain, even though the WHOIs shows that it is registered to Cloudflare.
Here is a video showing that process:

If you keep getting the error, can you create an Account ticket and share your ticket number here? You can open an Account ticket here, https://dash.cloudflare.com/?to=/:account/support
