What settings in the "Quick Start Guide" should I change for a MC server?

Setting up my Minecraft Server with Cloudflare, and this new “Quick Start Guide” is a bit confusing. What settings do I change or keep in the Quick Start Guide for a Minecraft Server?

Automatic HTTPS Rewrites (On or Off?)

  • Automatic HTTPS Rewrites helps fix mixed content by changing “http” to “https” for all resources or links on your website that can be served with HTTPS.

Auto Minify (JavaScript, CSS, or HTML?)

  • Reduce the file size of source code on your website.
  • Note: Purge cache to have your change take effect immediately.

Brotli (On or Off?)

  • Speed up page load times for your visitor’s HTTPS traffic by applying Brotli compression.

Which Quick Start Guide are you looking at? Most of that doesn’t even matter when it comes to Minecraft. Did you activate the Spectrum service for your Minecraft server?

Do you have a website? Most of these options apply for websites rather than anything else.

Regardless, HTTPS rewrites are good, minification can reduce file size meaning a quicker loading site and brotli is also good.

The descriptions sum them up perfectly. But again, these only apply if you actually have a site.

I am looking at this feature
It also shows up when first adding a new website

That’s really part of the standard website configuration system. As @WalshyMVP, said, those settings are good for websites if you have one.

I am using freenom to have a free domain. It should be set up so that if you connect to my Minecraft server with that website it will be redirected to me and join my server.

This is where I am confused

I am using a domain as an ip to connect to my minecraft server (which is very typical to do) and not using it as a website.

Then the options do not apply. You just need to have an A record (not proxied) with your IP.

You can leave them at their default settings or just enable them or whatever. It wont matter
