To select from the CAs offered by Cloudflare you need Advanced Certificate Manager. However Cloudflare no longer offers Digicert as an option so this won’t work for you.
If you must have a Digicert certificate, then you will need to buy one from Digicert and use a Cloudflare Business or Enterprise plan to be able to use your own certificate on the Cloudflare edge.
As my previous email with, I would like to confirm my understanding with the questions below:
1.Can we upgrade to the Business plan, which allows us to upload our own CA certificate under the SSL/TLS → Edge Certificates menu?
2.Does the Business plan support uploading a certificate from DigiCert Inc.?
3.If the above (items 1–2) are possible, can we use the DigiCert certificate to encrypt data between Cloudflare and our origin server? If yes, could you please advise on how to configure this?
Additional question:
-If we select the Automatic SSL/TLS encryption mode in the SSL/TLS settings, does this mean that the end-user connection will still be protected by Cloudflare, but the negotiation to the origin server will be based on the CA certificate installed there?
Thank you for your support.
