My site was working fine and then Google Search Console updated my DNS and now my site is down.
Under DNS I’m getting:
Add an A, AAAA, or CNAME record for your root domain so that mysite.com
will resolve.
I have a “Workers & Pages” mysite.pages.dev
set up with the active site.
What A Record should I set please? Or is it something else?
Thanks
Marc.

I’ve set the CNAME - i have no idea why Google Search Console would delete that though! It happened on two of my sites. Weird.

Unfortunately, it’s a known issue that the Google Search Console integration will delete any CNAMEs on your apex/root of the domain. It should show “replacing” in the integration screen, but it’s easy to miss.
If you go back within Pages Custom Domains (Magic Link: https://dash.cloudflare.com/?to=/:account/pages/view/:pages-project/custom-domains ), you can delete, and recreate the Custom Domain, and it should start working with any issues.

Thanks @Chaika , yes, it’s a bit annoying. I fixed it by adding the CNAME record again.
It’s good to have confirmed this is a known issue! Thank you.
