Suppose I set up both A and AAAA record for my domain, which record cloudflare proxy will use?

I am asking this because I wondering if I should publish A record or AAAA record or both?

Cloudflare will try the A record address first and if that is down, try the AAAA address.

I use only AAAA through personal preference (fewer address ranges to allow at the firewall and easier to randomly change IP address if needed). You may prefer to use both in case of a problem with one of the IP stacks on your server, it’s up to you.
