What art thou "FTP" settings

Where art though “FTP” settings… ?

“FTP” is a pretty popular way to move data - why wouldn’t you just create a toggle
“On” Manage my “FTP”
“Off” to leave my FTP settings alone…

#seriously - if the solution is to create a subdomain - that’s a horrible and expensive solution.
if you already, paid for a standard SSL then you know that it does not cover sub domains.

so it would be silly to recommend, someone to spend money on an additional SSL or even a Wildcard SSL.

I can’t wait to see the solution / response…

but for everyone else…

here is a quick real world solution, that doesn’t cause an expense and only take a few minutes…

simply, set you DNS back to your HOST dns - do your FTP then … rethink using cloudflare!

I am already talking with Godaddy about -this- as this should of been solved years ago…

I’m not sure I follow. Creating a subdomain on Cloudflare doesn’t cost anything and an SSL certificate isn’t used/necessary because FTP <> HTTP/S.

Or as @cloonan stated just FTP directly to the IP of the origin server.

Sorry, I was whispering!

I’m not sure if that’s a where or what question…lots of FTP discussion here, https://community.cloudflare.com/search?q=ftp%20order%3Alatest.

We don’t proxy FTP by default, you should be able to access your origin IP directly with your FTP client.

Are you having an issue using FTP? Some details here, https://support.cloudflare.com/hc/en-us/articles/200170166-Best-Practices-DDoS-preventative-measures
