What is the name of the domain?

www.xyz.com

What is the issue you’re encountering

no Traffic on cloudflare after we onboarded www.xyz.com

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

Can we onboard a website with ‘www’ on cloudflare. E.g. www.xyz.com instead of domain xyz.com?

www is just a sub domain, have you added a DNS record for it pointing at your web server?

so when adding site, we cannot add www.wxyz.com?
does ‘www’ only need to be added in DNS record? But there were two options on cloudflare add site and register domain, pl clarify the difference

as mentioned above www is just a sub domain, so you just add www record like any other record.
add site is for adding a domain that you already own for DNS management.
Register domain is for registering a new domain name.
