Describe the issue you are having:
My website is occasionally redirecting to spam website. To reproduce the issue, we have to refresh the site at least 20 times. I have contacted my hosting provider and they confirmed that everything looks good on hosting. I have also checked htaccess and pho file for any redirections and didn’t find any.

Also, I have another website,
on the same hosting. This was on Cloudflare few hours back and was redirecting to the same spam website. After I removed Cloudflare name servers and pointed directly to hosting IP, it’s not redirecting to spam site.

What error message or number are you receiving?

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

  1. Checked htaccess and pho files
2.conracted hosting provider for any issues.

Was the site working with SSL prior to adding it to Cloudflare?

May I ask if this behaviour continues even when Cloudflare is in “Pause” mode for your domain?

You could determine if this behaviour continues even by using a “Pause” option at Cloudflare as follows:

  1. Use the “Pause Cloudflare on Site” option from the Overview tab for your domain at .
  2. The link is in the lower right corner of that page.
  3. Give it five minutes to take effect, then make sure site is working as expected with HTTPS.
  4. Re-try with updating.
  5. Upon success, un-pause and continue using Cloudflare.

May I ask have you tried using a different Web browser, or tried clearing your Web browser cache?
How about using a Private window (Incognito mode) or a VPN connection if possible?
Is it the same behaviour on your mobile phone (4G LTE, mobile data, cellular)?

Strange

If there are no Page Rules or Cloudflare Apps being configured, it should be either:

  1. Malicious code on your Website
  2. Some other issue not related to the Cloudflare

I have tried the pause feature. It’s not redirecting when paused.

Just an observation, the DNS ip addresses are pointing to different ips in different locations. Usually, all locations should point to same ips.

The ips are

I suspect, 188. Ips
