Website not working - too many redirections

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

Our website is with squarespace and our domain is with 123 reg. I have updated updated 123 reg nameservers to Cloudflares as our email is rerouted through cloudlfare. Since updating the nameservers the website won’t connect and comes up with the error message “load cannot follow more than 20 redirections”

I’ve followed the advice in this article but still no luck (ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS · Cloudflare SSL/TLS docs)

Any help would be appreciated as I’m not familiar with cloudflare. Ideally I’d like to have the email rerouting without using cloudflares nameservers but I don’t believe this is an option? That seems to be the only fix I can make atm.

Make sure your SSL/TLS setting on Cloudflare is “Full (strict)” here…

Then check your Squarespace configuration as it seems https://www.cavendishpta.org.uk/ is redirecting to itself…

Thanks. I’ve changed it from Full to Full (strict)

How do I fix squarespace redirecting to itself. I’ve disconnected the domain and reconnected it and it is currently on “connection in progress” so is it just a case of waiting it out?

The error message is now “This website is pending domain owner verification”

I’ve clicked on this link you sent and this is what is coming up. Sorry I’m not too techy so if it could be interpreted that would be great - basically is this how it should be or is there still a problem? What do I do to fix it on cloudflare?

the domain is purchased through 123 reg and the nameservers are hosted by Cloudflare. I cannot get the domain to connect but the DNS settings match. It seems to be stuck in a redirection loop (https://cf.sjr.org.uk/tools/check?7bfe66f4b28a4ad4b94bd873e54c0048#connection-worker-https)

How do I fix it? If I transfer the domain to squarespace would this fix it? We need to use Cloudflare’s name servers so that our email redirect works.

Just realised you already posted about this.

The redirect to itself is on Squarespace, you need to fix it there…

[add] Your site is currently showing “This website is pending domain owner verification” so you need to sort that out with Squarespace.
