Hi can anybody help? We transferred our domain to google and it was successful. However for the past two weeks our website is down and you get a resolution error 1001
We have been told our website is pointing to Cloudflare and that they need to help but there are no telephone numbers for support.
Does anyone know what we need to do to get our website up and running again?
Phone Support is available on our Enterprise plan and chat Support on our Business Plan and above.
A quick here found similar issues https://community.cloudflare.com/search?expanded=true&q=1001%20order%3Alatest but no clear resolution from a quick glance.
Can you share the name of the domain? Ah, I see. Looks like when the site moved google picked up Cloudflare records after being purged from your account.
I have not tested these steps, can you do this and let us know if it fixes the issue?
- Log in to your Google Domains account.
- Select the domain that you’ve transferred.
- Go to the ‘DNS’ tab.
- In the ‘Custom resource records’ section, check if there are any Cloudflare-related records (e.g., A, CNAME. If yes, delete or modify them as necessary.
- Update the DNS records according to your web host’s specifications. If you are unsure, you should contact your web host for the correct records.
After updating the DNS records, it may take some time (typically 24-48 hours) for the changes to propagate across the internet. Once the propagation is complete, your website should be up and running. Let us know how it works out.
yes it’s mauiautoexchange dot com
If you paste your domain in this Google DNS lookup tool and run the IP through this whois tool you will see it is a Cloudflare IP. Updating your DNS records at Google, like @cloonan indicated, should get you back online.
