Website hosted on Google Sites can’t be resolved on Cloudflare. Getting too many redirects error. Have verified all the required and advised configs. Website was operational before moving to Cloudflare.
What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?
Followed all the instructions from Cloudflare and Google
What feature, service or problem is this related to?
hey, thanks for the reply. I did that as well but that didn’t work either. My current setup is SSL encryption set to Full. Can you advise what’s wrong here?
Cloudflare SSL config set to Flexible - website goes to too many redirects
Cloudflare SSL config set to Full - 525 error is seen.
Google sites shows invalid DNS
I have triple check the domain settings on Google and re-added domain a few times but it keeps going back to invalid DNS.
Anything we can think of being wrong here?
For Google Sites, you need to set the hostname to DNS Only as I’ve already told you. This completely disables Cloudflare’s Proxy, and, consequently, Cloudflare’s SSL settings have no effect at all. So don’t bother tweaking this.
Your Google Sites address https://www.webfascia.au/ works from my end and serves the website shown below. If it’s still not working at your end, flush your local DNS cache – or just give it time.
