Need access to Cloudflare. email address and support have failed.
What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?
Tried to email. I have no words for those in this situation. See more notes below.
Hi Support
I’ve tried to call support, which directed me to send an email.
I’ve created an account in the cloudflare with email address : [email protected] in an attempt to log a support case with the following info below WRT website www.go2homes.com.au
But has lead me to send an email direct to [email protected]
I’d appreciate a call back to discuss next steps so we can restore service to : go2homes.com.au
My contact details below.
THE WEBSITE IS CURRENTLY DOWN!
I am logging this support case on behalf of a client, Gordon Allen.
He is the Company Director of Go2Homes Pty Ltd.
Go2Homes have their domain name hosted with Crazy Domains. The NS Records are pointing to cloudflare.
The last web developer that Go2Homes used to manage the website and make development changes is no longer in business and no longer contactable.
Gordon and Rorey were no provide login details to the cloudflare control panel or access to it, so have no visibility on how to manage and make changes to the website.
(It looks as though the website is hosted with Cloudflare)
The website is currently down and Gordon would like to have the website restored or back online.
Can you please provide next steps with resolving access to the website hosting @ Cloudflare.
You may seek help from the WordPress software’s community support forums at WordPress.org… but note that any fix is going to involve logging in to your website hosting account.
Cloudflare does not host WordPress websites at all, Cloudflare is not the one hosting your WordPress site, and Cloudflare is not the place to go to fix your current website issue.
You need to go to your WordPress site’s hosting provider instead. Your domain is registered with CrazyDomains, and they’re probably the ones hosting the site as well (but I can’t know for sure).
As for your relationship with Cloudflare going forward after fixing your site, someone who has/had control over your domain set this up. If you don’t know who did this or have no access to the email address used to set up the account, then the recovery of the existing account is not an option for you.
You can either:
Add the domain to the new Cloudflare account you created, and change the nameservers (at your Registrar, CrazyDomains) to the new pair that Cloudflare will give you. This way, you can continue to benefit from Cloudflare’s security and CDN services while maintaining full control over the Cloudflare account the domain is under, -OR-
Point the domain away from Cloudflare completely by changing the nameservers to your registrar or hosting provider’s nameservers (you’ll do this from your domain’s registrar, CrazyDomains – you don’t need access to any Cloudflare account to do this). Note that this will discontinue any security and other benefits that your site may be receiving from Cloudflare.
Feel free to ask any additional questions you may have.
