Website down due to server does not support a common SSL protocol version or cipher suite

Hi,

I am new to Cloudflare, I have recently added a domain and hosting through Siteground and also added the free " Let’s encript" SSL certificate provided with the package.

When I logged into Cloudflare to my website and updated the nameservers the site crashed and showing me th following error message

ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH

Unsupported protocol

The client and server don’t support a common SSL protocol version or cipher suite.

My domain name: www.blackinvogue.com

Please help me solve this issue.

Hi,

24 hrs has elapsed still the website is not working and under the SSL/TLS app:

Universal SSL status - Certificate pending validation

is shown.

Well, did you follow the steps suggested in the article?

Yes I did now the crypto is showing Active Certificate but the error has changed

NET::ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALID

This is the error now.

blackinvogue.com

It still shows pending and not active, as you said.

After following the 2nd step it just now turned Active.

Now Universal SSL Status - Active Certificate

Hi @kanchankuntalad921,

Your site loads for me with the Cloudflare certificate, now - if you still see the error, it is probably due to a cached value on your end. You do have some mixed content issues there that you may want to take a look at.

So what is the issue then? As @domjh noted, it is working.

But it is still not working for me.

NET::ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALID

The above mentioned error is showing. I have made the

Universal SSL - Full

Probably the propagation issue @domjh already addressed earlier. Wait a couple of hours and try again.
