Website down after move to Cloudflare DNS

What is the name of the domain?

wlduncanlaw.com, hlia.net

What is the error number?

Website Offline

What is the error message?

Too many redirects.

What is the issue you’re encountering

I transfered my DNS to Cloudflare with all the same DNS entries and shortly after the websites went offline. What am I missing?

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

I’m not sure what to do.

What feature, service or problem is this related to?

DNS records

What are the steps to reproduce the issue?

I added the domains to Cloudflare, scanned the DNS, and used that to replicate all DNS records, then I changed name servers on Domains to Cloudflare. Once I did that within 24 hrs the websites went down. One of the domains I changed the name servers back and it’s up and running not using Cloudflare DNS.

Make sure that you are using the Full (strict) SSL setting on Cloudflare.

Thanks! I am no longer getting that error. Now I’m getting this error ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED

Any thoughts?

wlduncanlaw.com is redirecting to www.wlduncanlaw.com, but you have not created any DNS records for the www subdomain.

Thanks again. I will get that added.

Ok, I added that and I think I’m still missing something the site is still not working on Cloudflare.

You are getting ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS

Switch your encryption level to Full (strict).

I just reviewed the responses from both curl -Iiv https://www.wlduncanlaw.com/ and curl -Iiv https://wlduncanlaw.com/.

It appears that you have a redirect from www to your naked domain configured on Cloudflare while your origin server is configured with the opposite redirect from the naked domain to www. You should choose which name you want to use and keep only the redirect that points to it.
